
Matthew Blesso,
President and Founder
Prior to founding Blesso Properties, Matthew Blesso worked as a commercial lender, most recently in the Real Estate Finance Group at BHF Bank (now PB Capital), a German bank. Matt earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Rochester (cum laude) and Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University. In addition to managing Blesso Properties, Matt regularly lectures on residential real estate investment and development at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Matt is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the New York Landmarks Conservancy, the Municipal Arts Society, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation, the Urban Land Institute, the New York Preservation Archive Project, and the Manhattan Real Estate Network. he is also a member of Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Citizen Housing and Planning Counsel and a founding member and the chairman of the Leadership Board of the Fourth Arts Block as well as Board member of the Institute For Urban Design.
