Biography

Rodrigo Cugat is a Venezuelan hospitality executive with experience across more than seven Latin American countries, where he has lived and worked developing hotels, restaurants, and entertainment concepts. He has led the opening of over 12 hotels across the region, gaining deep expertise in launching and structuring operations in diverse markets.

Currently serving as General Manager of Grupo Tántalo in Panama City, Rodrigo oversees a multifaceted operation that includes a boutique hotel, food and beverage outlets, and the iconic Teatro Amador. His focus is on F&B strategy, revenue optimization, and building operational systems that drive efficiency and profitability.

With a hands-on and analytical approach, he specializes in creating structure from the ground up, implementing SOPs, and improving performance through data-driven decision-making.
