Built in 1832 and family-owned for 125 years, this Federal Style townhouse was constructed a generation before most homes in Greenwich Village.  The structure remained untouched for decades and had fallen into a state of severe disrepair before it was acquired in 2007 by Blesso Properties. The front façade featured elegant period details such as wrought-iron railings, fluted columns, and a majestic entrance under a unique stained glass transom were all meticulously restored preserving the unique features that could be saved. The remainder of the building seamlessly wed the house’s historic character to a contemporary modern design.
